A landmark car marking the beginning of an all-new generation of Corvettes, with futuristic styling, advanced tech, and a complete mechanical overhaul after the long-running C3 (1968–1982). With an all new look including aerodynamic wedge shape, flush glass, and pop-up headlights, a clamshell hood that exposed the entire engine bay, integrated bumpers and full-width rear taillights, it was sleek, modern and a massive departure from the curves of the original C3s.
